Point of no Return: Point beyond which a driver can no longer stop safely without entering the intersection.
Legal Stop: When you come to a full and complete stop. Happens at a Stop line, Crosswalk, Sidewalk, and at the edge of the road.
Safety Stop: Happens at an unregulated intersection, when there is not enough time to preform the desired action (legal stop), stops at the edge of the road.
Staggered Stop: To stop unsteadily
