Assignment Posted 7/6
Five ways to effectively communicate with other drivers is to use your headlights, brake lights, horn, turning signals, and Lane Position. Having your headlights on helps other people see you. Your brake lights can help to get peoples attention like if you are slowing down and you don't think the person behind you realizes it then you can tap your brakes to help them see. Your horn is an automatic way of getting peoples attention, when people hear a noise they automatically look to see the source. A turning signal lets people know when you are going to be making a turn, or changing lanes. Lane Position tells people what you might be planning to do, without turning signals. for example, if you are in LP2 then you may be planning to move into the left hand lane, or avoid something on their right hand side.
